Buddha T-Shirts

Lotus pose, or Padmasana, may be the most famous of all the Yoga poses. Buddha is often depicted in this pose because of its traditional association with meditation practice, the path Buddha took towards enlightenment.

Lotus flowers take root at the bottom of muddy ponds. As they grow towards the surface waters, they begin to blossom. When they reach the light, they open fully, showing no sign of muddy beginnings. This makes the lotus an ideal symbol for spiritual awakening in your yoga practice.
